Currently, livestock waste is creating serious pollution to agriculture environment. To deal with this problem, the Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development and LCASP has co-organised the workshop on “Management of livestock waste, solutions and policy proposals for sustainable livestock environment”.

Instead of discharging to the environment, livestock waste can be treated as feeding material for organic fertiliser factories, which can help to increase households’ incomes and reduce environment pollution.
